Objective:To discuss the influence of the percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) theatment to the patients moving ability of osteoporotic compression fractures of the thoracic and lumbar vertebra.Methods:21 patients of compression fractures of the thoracic and lumbar vertebra (25 vertebal bodies total) were carded on the PVP treatment.Under x-ray,the puncture catheter was inserted into the vertebral body through the vertebral pedicle and vertebral marrow cavity radiography was performed immediately,then the bone cement (polymethylmethacrylate,PM-MA) was injected into the vertebral body with pressure.
