中学物理学生实验的教学,是组织难度、反馈广度和指导程度较大从而值得大家注意和探究的课题。它的作用,正如中学物理教学大纲所指出物理作为一门实验科学,主要地是“使学生理解物理概念和规律的建立与实验的关系,培养学生一定的实验能力”。从教材本身的特点看,物理实验(包括学生实验和演示实验)也占有很大的比例。初中阶段学生实验22个,占整个实验的五分之一,高中阶段的学生实验则占整个实验的四分之一。这一比例可以显而易见地看到,
The experiment teaching of middle school physics students is a topic which is worthy of our attention and exploration because of the difficulty of organization, the breadth of feedback and the large degree of guidance. Its role, as pointed out in the Syllabus for High School Physics, is that physics, as an experimental science, is mainly “to enable students to understand the relationship between the establishment of physical concepts and laws and experiments and to develop students’ experimental skills.” From the characteristics of the textbook itself, physical experiments (including student experiments and demonstration experiments) also occupy a large proportion.
