本刊1964年第11期发表了莫绍揆同志关于中学初等几何课设置问题的文章,提出了当前中学初等几何课存在的问题、产生问题的原因及解决问题的建议。莫同志对中学数学教学是热情关切的,提出的问题一部分也是中肯的。但总的说来,莫同志在文中对问题的分析以及由此作出的结论还是值得商榷的。目前中学初等几何课的确部分地存在着“先难后易”等缺点,既不能很好地完成训练学生空间概念方面的任务,又不能很好地完成训练学生逻辑推理能力的
In the 11th issue of 1964, this article published an article on the setting of elementary geometry classes in the middle school by Comrade Mok Siu-tong, and proposed the problems existing in the elementary middle school geometry class, the causes of the problems, and suggestions for solving problems. Comrade Mo is enthusiastically concerned about mathematics teaching in middle schools. The questions raised are also relevant. In general, however, Comrade M. Tong’s analysis of the issues in the text and the conclusions drawn therefrom are still open to question. At present, there are indeed some shortcomings in the elementary geometry class of middle schools, such as the “difficulty and ease afterwards”, which can neither complete the task of training students’ spatial concepts nor complete the training of students’ logical reasoning ability.
