At present, there is no early simple sign or test method for prognostic markers in acute viral hepatitis. If flapping-wing tremor, ataxia, progressive disturbance of consciousness and convulsions and other signs, then prompted fulminant hepatic failure, other symptoms such as the rapid reduction of the liver and bleeding tendency, but also the prognosis of poor prognosis. Seriously decreased serum transaminase activity, prolonged prothrombin time, decreased serum albumin and white blood cells have been seen as a serious indicator of acute viral hepatitis. To explore an early, simple and reliable prognostic indicator, the authors studied SGOT / SGPT ratios in 25 patients with severe acute viral hepatitis.
