一个地区工程地质的构造稳定性,对那里的工程建设关系极大。地震—特别是强震, 对工程建设的危害早已为人们注意。然而对于那些极少发生地震,而区域构造在輓近地质时期以来又不断活动的地区,却很少引起人们的关注。发生在地壳中的地震和活动于地壳中的构造应力状态,是研究工程地质的构造稳定性的两个重要方面。它们实质上是统一的整体,可是对工程建设的影响却表现得迥然不同。前者是瞬时性的破坏,后者则是长期持续性和潜伏性的伤害。
The structural stability of an area’s engineering geology has a great bearing on the engineering construction there. Earthquakes - especially strong earthquakes, have long drawn people’s attention to the harms of the project construction. However, for those areas where earthquakes rarely occur and regional tectonics have continued to move since the recent geological period, little attention has been given to it. The earthquakes that occur in the earth’s crust and the tectonic stress state in the earth’s crust are two important aspects to study the structural stability of the engineering geology. They are in essence a unified whole, but their impact on the construction of the project has been very different. The former is a momentary destruction, the latter is sustained long-term and latent damage.
