由福建省焊接学会组织召开的第五次焊接学术会议于1999年7月8日至11日在福建省漳州市举行,共有福建省焊接学会理事、团体会员代表、会员及热心焊接事业的业内人士78人参加了会议,原福建省机械厅厅长、福建省机械工程学会理事长施令伟;中国机械工程学会焊接分会常务副秘书长王麟书;原南昌大学副校长、清华大学焊接教研室吴志强教授;福建省机械工程学会副秘书长陈明应邀出席了会议并分别在开幕式上致辞。福建省焊接学会高建枢理事长在会上作了题为《振奋精神、团结拼搏、齐心协力、努力开创我省焊接学会工作的新局面》的大会报告,报告中回顾了福建省焊接学会近年来的工作并提出
