Selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of NO with NH3 is a well proved technology for NO removal from flue gas.Honeycomb cordierite based CuO/Al2O3 is one of potential catalysts to replace industrilized V2O5/TiO2 due to its high activity, good mechanical strength and low production cost.SCR mechinism of this catalyst [1], selection of cordierite precursor and Al2O3 coating [2] have been studied in detail. However, stability of this catalyst, an important industrial paramater, is still unknown. This work presents its stability and analyis of deactivation reason with the aid of SEM, N2 adsorption and ICP analysis, including the effects of CeO2 loading and the space velocity.
