Catalytic coated-wall microchannel reactors represent a promising technology for application in energy generation, biocatalysis, fine chemical synthesis as highly intensified and intrinsically safe reactor systems [1-3].This technology offers many advantages in achieving cleaner, more atom efficient and chemically selective synthesis, since process parameters can be very accurately controlled within the high surface-to-volume environment that the reactor channels provide.
