Direct ammonia fuel cell (DAFC) as a possible alternative energy usage has increasingly attracted more concerns of the researcher.For promoting the effectiveness of the fuel cell system, high-performance catalysts was considered to potentially shorten the reaction time of the oxidation and allow the reaction happened under milder operating conditions.In this study, the preparation of Cu-ACF electrocatalyst were synthesized by the coprecipitation method with copper nitrate as active component for electrochemical oxidation (ECO) of ammonia (NH3).Then, electrochemical characterization of the electrocatalyst, including redox behavior using cyclic voltammetry (CV) and linear sweep voltammograms (LSV), corrosion properties, combined with TEM-EDX, zeta potential,UV-Vis absorption spectra; and EEFM spectroscopy were conducted.
