一般纤维砼的受拉、抗裂、抗冻、耐火、抗撞击等强度和变形性都相当高,但也有缺点,如钢纤维砼的造价太高(比普通钢筋高2—3倍);玻璃纤维在砼中不耐久;而耐碱的含锆纤维价格太贵。苏联国家建委建筑研究所和乌克兰科学院材料研究所经研究得出一种新的纤维砼,这就是玄武岩纤维砼。这种纤维砼是在细粒砼和粗玄武岩纤维基础上形成。与普通纤维砼比,其受拉强度高0.5—1倍,延伸率高3—5倍。

The fiber concrete is formed on the basis of fine-grained concrete and crude basalt fiber. Compared with ordinary fiber concrete, its tensile strength 0.5-1 times, 3-5 times higher elongation.
