常言道:“实践出真知。”心理学家皮亚杰指出:“活动是认识的基础,智慧从动手开始。”《数学课程标准》要求:“要让学生亲历数学知识的形成过程。”然而长久以来,受应试教育的影响,我们的教育重知识传授,轻动手实践创新能力培养。比较中美学生的差异可以发现,在学习成绩上,中国学生要优于美国学生,但数年后在科研成果方面,中国的学生却比美国少很多。究其原因是美国学生思维活跃,动手能力和创新精神强。正如美国华盛顿国立图书馆中所写的
