There are two existing texts of “Yue Ji”, namely “Book of Rites Music” and “Book of Shi Ji Music”. By comparison, it is found that there are many differences in writing between two texts, but there is a high degree of consistency between the writing style of “Music Book” and “Historical Records.” It can be speculated that this “Music Book” is later added to the “Historical Records”, but the “Music Note” text may have been seen and handled by Sima Qian, or for Sima Qian to write “music book ”Collect, prepare the original data. This shows that “Yue Ji” should be a kind of ancient literature on ritual and music pre-Qin, and the fact that “Yue Ji” coexisted in the Western Han Dynasty and was dividedly propagated can prove this point.
