国际化与全球化正成为21世纪不可阻挡的趋势。面对这一新形势,怎样培养出更具国际化眼光和素质的学生、大学应该如何做、语言教育面临怎样的转变等都成为中美教育者共同关注的话题。日前,由孔子学院总部/国家汉办主办、美国大学理事会协办的“汉语桥——美国校长访华之旅”中美教育论坛在上海大学召开。来自美国大学理事会、杜克大学、普渡大学、斯坦福大学等30多所大学的38位美国校长与来自上海的40多位中国大学校长和学者就中美教育问题展开研讨,积极探索国际教育交流与合作。本期将撷取其中精彩观点,以飨读者。
Internationalization and globalization are becoming irresistible trends in the 21st century. Faced with this new situation, it has become a topic of common concern for both Chinese and American educators to cultivate students with more international perspectives and qualities, how universities should do their jobs, and what changes their language education faces. Recently, the Sino-American Education Forum hosted by Confucius Institute Headquarters / Hanban and co-organized by the Council of American Universities convened at Shanghai University. Thirty-eight U.S. principals from more than 30 universities including the University Board, Duke University, Purdue University and Stanford University, together with more than 40 Chinese university presidents and scholars from Shanghai, discussed the issue of Sino-American education and actively explored international education Exchange and cooperation. This issue will capture one of the wonderful views to readers.
