2002年12月,日本日立公司研制的集成化数字ATP系统在东北新干线上的盛冈—八户段开始使用,现在又用于改造既有的铁路线。ATP是“列车自动防护”英文名(Automatic Train Protection)的缩写。所谓列车自动防护就是当列车超过线路规定的速度、遇到紧急情况或者与前方列车的距离缩短到一定的限度以内,列车自动实施制动的功能。日本的数字ATP系统采用先进的信息和通信技术,从而提高了铁路的运输能力和乘坐的舒适性。它具有3个明显的优点:第一,可以适应灵活的运输要求;第二,简化地面设备,降低了成本;第三,改进了维护性能。
In December 2002, the integrated digital ATP system developed by Hitachi, Japan, began operation at the Morioka-Hatsukoi section of the Shinkansen in the northeastern region and is now being used to retrofit existing rail lines. ATP is the abbreviation of “Automatic Train Protection”. The so-called train automatic protection is when the train exceeds the line speed, in case of emergency or shorten the distance to the front of the train to a certain extent, the train automatically implement the braking function. Japan’s digital ATP system uses advanced information and communications technology to improve rail transport capacity and ride comfort. It has three distinct advantages: first, adaptability to flexible shipping requirements; second, simplified surface equipment, reduced costs; and third, improved maintenance performance.
