半个多世纪以来,中国的考古学者为寻觅中华5000年文明的曙光付出了毕生的精力,但一直未有满意的答案。近年来,由于辽宁朝阳地区牛河粱发现5000年前大型祭坛女神庙积石冢群址和史前巨型金字塔式建筑物,对于这个问题终于找到了解答的钥匙,“三皇五帝”的传说有了实物依据。对此,不少专家学者已有论述。1990年盛夏,中央美术学院教授、美术考古专家靳之林从美术和民俗入手对牛河梁红山文化遗址进行了全面考察,又有些与众不同的感受。
