近年来,随着对外开放的不断发展,作为祖国传统医学的的中医学也踏出国门,走向了世界,越来越多的国家接受并青睐中医。在中医国际化的趋势下,中医翻译正蓬勃发展。中医翻译,尤其是中医病名翻译,以其独特的医学命名方式和分类习惯,对译者提出了更高的要求。本文重点讨论中医病名翻译的常用的几种方法,如直译,音译加释义和借用西医病名词汇等。
In recent years, with the continuous development of opening up to the outside world, traditional Chinese medicine as the motherland’s traditional medicine has also taken the country and gone to the world. More and more countries accept and favor traditional Chinese medicine. Under the trend of internationalization of Chinese medicine, TCM translation is booming. Traditional Chinese medicine translation, especially TCM disease name translation, puts forward higher requirements on translators with its unique medical naming conventions and classification habits. This article focuses on several commonly used methods of TCM name translation, such as literal translation, transliteration plus paraphrase and borrowing terminology of western medicine.
