  Once upon a time, there was a little mouse living in a quiet and peaceful forest. His name was Rex, which meant a kind of fierce dinosaur. However, as a little mouse, Rex was quite distinguished from his name. Compared with a real rex who was very robust and stood at the top of the food chain. he was too small and weak to hold up even a small apple that he liked to eat.
  Rex always hoped that he could become as strong as a super-mouse. And he had a rex doll which was much bigger than him. He had always been dreaming of getting courageous and robust like a true rex . So he had physical training day in and day out. But things went contrary to his best wishes and he was still small in size, for which he felt dispirited.
  One morning, a scream broke the silence in the forest. Almost all the animals rushed out of their houses, only to find that the pipe of the rabbits’ house was out of order. The rooms were filled with water squirting from the pipe. All the animals there were astonished and wondered how to deal with it next. Just at that moment, Rex stood out and volunteered to have a try. In view of his slight and slim figure, Rex managed to jump into the pipe to see what had happened on earth. The pipe which was cold, dark and dirty inside frightened him a lot, but Rex took heart of grace to jump forward step by step. finally ,he discovered what’s wrong with it: it was a spitball that blocked the pipe. Thinking it over for a moment, he suddenly had a good idea. He cried out loudly in order to let himself heard. He asked other animals to release water into the pipe and assisted him in washing the spitball away. So they did. Soon Rex and the spitball were together washed away while his friends were waiting for him at the exit and stopped him.
  Seeing Rex succeed in solving the trouble in the rabbits’ house, all without exception on the spot cheered and applauded for him enthusiastically. It was Rex’s courage and wisdom that amazed and impressed all of them. From then on, nobody thought of Rex puny. Though still small and weak, he became a super-mouse in the eyes of all the animals.
  After reading the story, I’m deeply moved. So it is with us humans. Nobody is perfect in the world. Just as a classical saying goes,“No living man all things can”. Even if you are powerful and vigorous like a real rex, you absolutely have something that you can’t do; on the contrary, even if you are small and weak like Rex, you can accomplish something that others can’t do. Take advantage of what you have owned and never give up , and you can achieve your beautiful dream in time.   When Emperor Napoleon organized millions of French troops with his great courage and wisdom, no one cared his height; When Beethoven wrote impassioned “Symphony No.9” with his brilliant talent, no one cared about his deaf ears; When Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin with his tireless work, no one cared that he was actually a farmer. Therefore, when you are excellent and confident, don’t be proud; when you are no perfect and life seems unfair, there is no need to be afraid. Accept whatever we are! Make the best of it! Only if we can be ourselves and never give up, can we be a rex. Everyone can be a rex!
  愿人人都能成为霸王龙
  从前,有一只小老鼠住在一片宁静祥和的森林里。他的名字叫雷克斯,意思是一种凶猛的恐龙——霸王龙。然而,做为一只小老鼠,雷克斯与他的名字实在大相径庭。真正的霸王龙强壮极了,在食物链顶端傲视群雄。与它们相比,雷克斯实在太矮小瘦弱了,甚至连自己想吃的苹果都举不起来。
  雷克斯总是希望他能够变得像一只超级老鼠一样强壮。他有一只比自己大得多的霸王龙玩偶,他梦想着变得像真正的霸王龙一样勇敢强壮。于是每天他都会锻炼身体。然而事与愿违,他仍然很瘦小,因此他很是沮丧。
  一天早晨,一声尖叫打破了森林的宁静。所有的动物们都冲出房门,却发现兔子一家的水管坏了,房间里都是从水管里涌出的水。大家都惊呆了,不知所措。就在这个时候,雷克斯挺身而出,主动要求试一试。多亏了他小小的身材,雷克斯成功地跳进了水管去看个究竟。阴冷肮脏的管道让他有些害怕,但雷克斯鼓起勇气一步一步地前进着。最后,他终于发现了问题所在:是一个纸团堵住了管子。想了一会儿,雷克斯突然灵机一动。他大声喊叫,让外面的大伙把水放进管道,帮助他将纸团冲走。动物们这样做了,雷克斯和纸团被一起冲走了,而他的朋友们正在出口处等着他呢!
  看到雷克斯成功地解决了兔子家的大麻烦,在场的所有动物们都热情地为他鼓掌欢呼。从此,没有人认为雷克斯弱小了,尽管他的身体仍然矮小瘦弱,但在大家眼中,他成为了一只超級老鼠!
  读完了这个故事,我被深深地感动了。我们人类也是如此,世界上没有人完美的。常言道:“没有人什么都会。”即使你像一只真正的霸王龙一样孔武有力,你也绝对会有办不到的事情;相反,即使你像雷克斯一样弱小,你也能完成一些别人做不到的事。利用你之所长,绝不放弃,你就能够实现自己美好的梦想。
  当拿破仑大帝用他的勇气和智慧建起法国的百万大军,没有人再去在乎他的身高;当贝多芬用他杰出的天赋写出动人心弦的第九交响曲,没有人再去在乎他失聪的耳朵;当亚历山大·弗莱明通过努力发现了盘尼西林,没有人再去在乎他的农民身份。因此,当你足够杰出和自信时,不要骄傲;当你不那么完美而且生活对你不公时,也没必要害怕。接受我们自己吧!并且充分发挥自己所长!只有当我们决心做真正的自己而永不言弃时,我们才能成为一头霸王龙。愿每个人都能成为霸王龙!
