一般来讲,企业内部人员可以按照职能和层级划分为五类:中高层管理人员、销售人员、研发与技术人员、生产人员和职能人员。对于不同类别的人员,绩效管理工作开展的侧重点应有所差异,主要体现在考核指标设置、考核方法选择、考核结果应用等方面。其中,职能人员的绩效考核因其工作本身难以考核的特点,历来是人力资源管理中的难中之难。
