西德萨尔区的Dillingen有限钢铁公司已建成一台采用弧形结晶器的大断面连续铸钢装置(Concast的“S”型)。这台铸锭机是单流的,孤形半径为8米,锭坯断面尺寸达1,600毫米×25毫米,钢水用80吨的盛钢桶由平炉供给。目前,断面为1,550毫米×25毫米的碳素钢锭坯用来轧制板材。这是至今在连续铸锭机上浇铸的最大锭坯,浇铸速度为2吨/分。这个速度对于这类装置,也是一个新的记录。新铸锭机安装在现有厂房内的吊车下面,其高度恰为最初建成的浇铸类似断面锭坯的普通立式铸锭机的一半。
Dillingen Steel Limited, in the district of West Desal, has built a large cross-section continuous casting unit (Concast’s “S” type) with an arc-shaped mold. The ingot machine is a single-flow, arching radius of 8 meters, ingot billet size of 1,600 mm × 25 mm, with 80 tons of molten steel ladle by the hearth furnace. Currently, 1,550 mm x 25 mm cross-section carbon steel billets are used to roll sheets. This is the largest ingot billet that has been cast on a continuous casting machine so far, with a casting speed of 2 tons / minute. This speed is also a new record for such devices. The new ingot casting machine is installed under the crane in the existing factory and is exactly half the height of the original vertical ingot casting machine with a sectioned billet of similar profile.
