近几年,受外部环境与内部因素的多重作用,中国汽车产业经历了“井喷”和低迷,汽车行业的市场竞争不断加剧。面对严峻的形势下,各大整车企业纷纷开展供应链管理课题的研究,供应链管理成为整车企业急需挖掘的利润增长点。正如著名供应链管理专家马丁·克里斯托弗曾说:“市场上只有供应链而没有企业,21世纪的竞争不是企业和企业之间的竞争,而是供应链与供应链之间的竞争。”如何让供应链更好地为企业创造价值,如何有效控制供应链的质量和成本,成为了当前所有整车厂共同的关注点。
