相反数是数学中的一个重要概念,同学们初学时要注意以下四点.一、注意准确理解相反数的定义1.相反数的描述性定义:只有符号不同的两个数互为相反数,其中一个数是另一个数的相反数.例如1(1/2)和-1(1/2)互为相反数,即1(1/2)是-1(1/2)的相反数,-1(1/2)是1(1/2)的相反数.2.相反数的几何意义:在数轴上原点的两旁且与原点的距离相等的两个点所表示的数互为相反数.如下图所示,A、B两点所表示的两个数-3、+3互为相反数.
