Based on a large number of experimental studies and engineering accident analysis, this paper focuses on nine major issues in the study of collapsibility characteristics and engineering applications of loess: the three main features of collapse deformation; transformation of compression and collapsibility; The lagging wet collapse; the wet collapse of the micro-dip underwater; the load-bearing capacity and construction quality problems of the wet shearing breaking ring and the expanding bottom pier.
