1997年9月12日至18日,中国共产党第十五次全国代表大会在北京召开,十五大代表和特邀代表共2074人参加了会议。李鹏同志主持了大会开幕式,江泽民同志代表第十四届中央委员会向大会作报告。报告的题目是《高举邓小平理论伟大旗帜,把建设有中国特色社会主义事业全面推向二十一世纪》。
From September 12 to 18, 1997, the 15th National Congress of the Communist Party of China was held in Beijing. 2074 people from the 15th National Congress and invited representatives attended the meeting. Comrade Li Peng presided over the opening ceremony of the General Assembly and Comrade Jiang Zemin delivered a report to the General Assembly on behalf of the 14th Central Committee. The title of the report is “to hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and push the cause of building socialism with Chinese characteristics to the 21st century in an all-round way.”
