报道了Er3+/Yb3+共掺双包层光纤作为增益介质的全光纤环形腔激光器。用性能稳定,中心波长为976 nm的高功率半导体激光器作为抽运光源,利用光纤的非线性偏振旋转效应产生可饱和吸收体的锁模机制,通过调整抽运功率和偏振控制器的状态,实现了被动调Q,调Q-锁模和连续锁模的运转状态,其中调Q重复频率7.583~32.86 kHz,连续锁模重复频率为8.843 MHz。实验还观察到各种运转状态的光谱都为带状光谱,对这种现象进行了简单的分析。
The all-fiber annular cavity laser with Er3 + / Yb3 + co-doped double-clad fiber as gain medium is reported. By using a stable high-power semiconductor laser with a center wavelength of 976 nm as the pumping light source, the mode-locking mechanism of the saturable absorber is generated by the non-linear polarization rotation effect of the optical fiber. By adjusting the pumping power and the state of the polarization controller, The passive Q-switched, Q-switched and mode-locked operation modes were investigated. The Q-switching frequency was 7.583 ~ 32.86 kHz and the continuous mode-locked repetition frequency was 8.843 MHz. The experiment also observed that the spectra of various operating states are banded spectra, and this phenomenon was briefly analyzed.
