In-depth study of secondary metabolites of marine microorganisms is a very important part of the development of new drug effects. The important achievements and the latest progress of benzoquinone, naphthoquinone and anthraquinone compounds in secondary metabolites of marine microorganisms were introduced respectively in recent years. The development trend of them was also prospected.
