邵东铅锌矿尾矿主要由SiO_2、CaF_2、Al_2O_3等成分所组成。通过大量的研究工作和综合利用方案对比,最后确定的综合利用方案是在尾矿中先回收萤石,回收萤石后的尾矿渣分离可分别获得玻璃原料硅砂及耐火砖和民用砖原料。这几种原料经过有关专业厂试制所获产品均可达到国家相应产品的质量标准。按此研究方案,选矿尾矿基本都可得到利用,有着明显的环境效益和经济效益。
