钢索悬挂在两支点时所呈现的索形状态,人们通常把它作为悬链线线形处理,并视此获得的索道有关量为精确值。 悬链线函数是超越函数,在实际应用中不如代数函数来得方便。为此,人们努力寻求较简便的代数函数法来取代悬链线。以往,习惯采用抛物线法来取代。目前,又出现了“悬索曲线”法和摄动法来取代。各法建立各自的条件,其可适用的范围,各文均已提出。而在同一条件下,各取代法可能达到精度和适用范围,并未作探讨。
