Shenque (CV 8) is closely related to qi and is connected with numerous collaterals. Quick cupping onto Shenque (CV 8) has been shown to be extremely effective for the acute diseases due to qi stagnation and reversed flow of qi, and is employed widely in clinical practice. This paper will deal with the clinical application of quick cupping onto Shenque (CV 8) by demonstrating three typical cases.
