矿物加工工业广泛采用磁选来富集和回收有价矿物。在液氮中使用的高压超导永磁磁盘和磁环可能产生比传统永磁体强得多的磁力。用B表示磁场,则决定磁力的重要因素是B2的梯度,由超导磁盘可获得60T2/cm的高值。而从传统永磁体可获得的值在1~3T2/cm的数量级。
Mineral processing industry extensive use of magnetic separation to enrich and recovery of valuable minerals. High-pressure superconducting PM disks and magnetic rings used in liquid nitrogen may produce much stronger magnetic forces than conventional permanent magnets. The magnetic field is denoted by B, and the important factor that determines the magnetic force is the gradient of B2. A high value of 60T2 / cm can be obtained from the superconducting magnetic disk. The values obtainable from conventional permanent magnets are on the order of 1 to 3 T 2 / cm.
