Zhou’s “General History of China” is an evergreen historical masterpiece, attracting generations of historians, rumors at home and abroad. As early as 1932, Professor Zhou Gucheng came to Shanghai Ji’nan University as director of history department from Zhongshan University in Guangzhou.
