JCB公司正在瞄准欲购置其Loadall 523M型高速军用物资装卸机的潜在客户阿曼和阿拉伯联合酋长国。
最初,该项目是JCB公司与英国陆军联合开发的旨在崎岖地形作业的轮式牵引车式铲车(TWFRT),2002年因预算原因暂时搁浅。具有军用技术性能的伸缩臂式523M型装卸机随军速度可达85千米/时,并可在崎岖地形上作业。
装满油料,配齐装备重达7.8吨的装卸机可装在国际标准集装箱内用C-130“大力神”空运,或以CH-47“支奴干”直升机吊运。动力装置为一台康明斯公司生产的97千瓦6BT5.9-C130型6缸水冷涡轮增压柴油机。采用ZF6WG160型自动变速箱,有2轮或4轮驱动两种方式。油箱容量180升,最大公里行程达400千米。
该装卸机还具有辅助动力前轮转向、液压后轮转向以及自动制动的特点。悬挂系统有三种工作模式:在公路或土路上运动时采用行使模式;起吊重物时采用悬挂使其前部升起并闭锁的模式;当需将整个装卸机装入6.1米高的国际标准集装箱内时,则采用前后悬挂同时降低整机高度并闭锁的模式。该装卸机伸缩式吊臂最大起重量为2.3吨,最大臂长3.33米。
JCB is targeting Oman and the United Arab Emirates as potential customers for its Loadall 523M high-speed materials handler.
Originally developed as the Tractor Wheeled Forklift Rough Terrain(TWFRT) in conjunction with the British Army, which shelved the programme for budgetary reasons in 2002, the 523M is a military-specification telescopic handler capable of maintaining convoy speeds (up to 85km/h) and operating in rough terrain.
Weighing 7.8t fully fuelled and equipped, it may be transported in an ISO container, aboard a C-130 Hercules, or as an underslung load by a CH-47 Chinook helicopter. It has a self-deployment road range of 400 km on 180 litres of diesel,power being provided by a 97 kW turbocharged, watercooled, six-cylinder Cummins 6BT5.9-C130 engine driving through a ZF 6WG160 programable transmission with selectable two-or four-wheel drive.
It also features power-assisted frontwheel steering, hydraulic rear-wheel steering and an automatic braking system. It has a three-mode suspension system, the vehicle being fully suspended in travel mode for on and off-highway mavement, while for load handling the front suspension may be raised and locked, or lowered and locked for entry into a 20 ft ISO container. The 523M’s telescopic boom gives it a maximum lifting capacity of 2.3 t and a maximum reach of 3.33m.
