12月19日,中国剧协就新的评奖条例的制定召开了梅花奖评委会。中国戏剧梅花奖迄今已举办了9届,对繁荣和发展社会主义戏剧事业、对发现和培养优秀的中青年戏剧演员都起了巨大的促进作用,得到了戏剧界乃至全社会的重视。但随着时代的发展和梅花奖影响的日益扩大,原有的梅花奖评选条例迫切需要进一步改进和完善。有鉴于此,中国剧协总结了以往工作中的经验和不足,准备在第十一届梅花奖评选中采用新的条例。在此次评委会上评委们就新条例的有关事项展开了热烈而充分的讨论,提出了许多宝贵的建议,许多未能与会的评委也通过各种方式转达了他们的意见。评委们本着认真负责的精神进行协商讨论,大到一个条款的立废,小到个别词句的润色,大家都各抒己见,力求尽善尽美,例如有关评委聘用条件
