在英语中,当主语(或逻辑主语)是动词的动作对象时,动词需要采用被动形式。如:The question needn’t be discussed.这个问题不必讨论。(主语question与discuss是动宾关系,是discuss的动作对象,故该句需用被动语态形式。)Have you anything to be taken to your son?你有什么东西需要带给你儿子吗?(逻辑主语anything是take的动作对象,二者具有动宾关系,故不定式用被动形式。)
In English, when a subject (or logical subject) is the object of action of a verb, the verb needs to be in passive form. Such as: The question need not be discussed. This question need not be discussed. (The subject of question and discuss is the relationship between the guest, is the action object of the discussion, so the sentence needs to be passive voice form.) Have you anything to be taken to your son? Do you have anything to bring to your son? The subject of anything is take action object, the two have a moving object relationship, so infinitive use passive form.)
