在过去的10年中,欧洲低断面轮胎的应用急剧增长。普通80和70系列轮胎已让位于65和60系列轮胎,而65和60系列轮胎又让位于断面更宽更扁平的轮胎.遗憾的是,这些接地面较宽的低断面轮胎,与抗水沿性能是相矛盾的.这个矛盾随着欧洲正常设计和使用轮胎速度的提高而加深。作为这个矛盾的一种新的解决办法,笔者设计出第1条在1个胎体上具有2个分开胎面轮廓的轮胎.这种新概念轮胎胎面有两个被轮胎接地印痕中心排水“沟”分开的独立接地区。
The use of low-profile tires in Europe has grown dramatically in the past decade. Ordinary 80 and 70 series tires have been placed on 65 and 60 series tires, while 65 and 60 series tires have been given wider and more flattened tires. Unfortunately, these wide, low-profile tires have conflicting properties with water repellency. This paradox has deepened with the normal design and use of tires in Europe. As a new solution to this contradiction, the author devised the first tire with two separate tread profiles on one carcass. The new concept tire tread has two separate ground areas separated by a “trench” in the center of the tire footprint footprint.
