水电十四局承建的广州抽水蓄能电站,地下工程规模宏大,其结构也非常复杂。其中,高水头、大直径高压钢筋混凝土斜井工程的施工,又是整个电站在1992年能否发电的关键之一。施工用的斜井模板由于难度大、要求高,在围内水电工程施工至今未获解决。为此,水电十四局广东分局组成了攻关小组,在总结平洞针梁模板的基础上,经一年多的潜心研究,并经多次讨论、修改和优化,研制了XDM-8.5型斜井滑模,为水电工程施工模板增添了新品。
