山东省现有大中型水库182座,养鱼水面70余万亩(含未验收的15座水库),具有发展水库渔业的良好条件。然而以往由于对水库的自然环境及渔业资源缺乏系统的调查研究,水库鱼产力不高,对水库渔业的进一步开发利用,缺乏科学依据。因此,山东省水利厅在有关单位的支持下组织人员,从1983年至1989年,历经7年时间,对全省163座大中型水库(有19座因干涸而未调查)进行了全面、系统地渔业资源调查,并按水库分别写出了渔业资源调查报告,各地市在此基础上制定了发展水
