【Abstract】At the beginning of producing,the main function of the White Zhu dance song poetry is entertainment. It’s thought is renewing joy and promoting soldiery for the feast. Later, Bao Zhao brought the new changes to the poet, adding life emotion and personal accomplishments to it, making its content richer. At the same time, Bao Zhao added glamorous words and sentences to the poet, and created some new elements in phonology. This article will mainly discuss the contribution of Bao Zhao to the creation of the White Zhu dance song poetry by analyzing Bao Zhao’s “quit four White Zhu dance song”.

From his words, we can see that the whole life of Bao Zhao must be unusual. He had been appreciated by the Emperor Xiaowu of Northern Wei, Liu Jun.However, because the emperor likes writing and thinks no one could catch him, Bao had to write some vulgar articles.
There is an outpouring of this feeling in his poems. The four poems in“the generation of the white zhu dance song poetry”also reveal this feeling .Many verses in his poems are written to gratitude for receiving help and encouragement by the emperor. These four poems are the most magnificent poems in his Yuefu poetry and that must be related to the grace and gorgeous rhetoric of poems of Liu song dynasty and that also reflects Bao’s catering to aethestic preferences of the upper class. The first and second poems try to depict the Luxurious scenes and gorgeous dancers which is a praise of luxurious life of upper class.The third and the fourth poems express Bao’s feeling of gratitude for the emperor’s appreciation more obviously and he continued the tradition that poets see the relationship of emperors and ministers as the love between lovers to express the feeling of gratitude to the emperor in a politely way .That also embodies Bao’s catering to the preference of the upper class. That is an exposure of his feelings and make that white Zhu dance song poetry is no longer a simple pleasure for feast and increase the confessional function for the poetry.
