This paper argues that the interpretation of literary works is neither an exploration of the social issues involved in the work nor an expression of the feelings triggered by the non-semantic information of the work, but rather the exploration and interpretation of the semantic information and deep meaning of the works. The author of literary interpreters should have an author in his / her mind and should view the work as a speech that conveys meaning rather than a sentence without a specific speaker and context. In order to cultivate the psychological quality of understanding others, respecting others, valuing evidence, and seeking consensus, the goal of interpretation should be determined to reveal the original meaning of the work, not the innovation. Since the author’s statement about the intent of the work can not be regarded as reliable proof of correctness, the interpreter’s academic position and context inevitably affect the objectivity of the explanation. Therefore, grasping the original meaning of the work is only an intentional goal
