《龙济山野猿听经》收录在隋树森编的《元曲选外编》内,是元代无名氏杂剧,全剧共四折一楔子,写的是龙济山野猿修身正果,得道升仙的故事。龙济山有一个自称“道妙灵仙”的千年玄猿,经常在寺院附近闻经听法、推悟玄宗,颇有如来觉性,却因未居人类,难以超升,遂化身樵夫、秀士,体验到不同的生命价值,并受到修公禅师的点化,最终大悟真机,坐化归空,进入极乐世界。
