长期以来,学术界关于企业政治关联对创新业绩作用的分析,往往从资源基础观理论出发,而忽视了政治关联作为影响企业网络条件的重要因素所产生的社会嵌入效果,以及所引发的社会嵌入带来的创新业绩影响。本文基于中国民营上市公司数据,利用面板数据中介模型,分析了不同市场化程度调节变量下,企业网络在政治关联和创新业绩之间的中介作用:在中国市场化程度逐渐提高,与企业创新相关的正式制度逐渐替代非正式制度的经济进程中,政治关联逐渐从通过资源获取直接影响创新业绩向影响企业网络和社会嵌入情况进而间接影响企业创新业绩转变。在理论上首次将资源基础观和社会嵌入理论相结合,分析了政治关联、企业网络和创新业绩在不同市场化程度条件下的动态关系,为政府创新支持政策和企业创新战略管理提出了可靠的依据。
