教学中对英语字母的设计提出新颖的“主题性”要求,从初始的一般事物形象主题,上升到思想、文化、精神等深层主题。探索如何从主题中提炼简洁传神的元素,并将视觉形象特征融于字母设计之中。加上基本外形的约束,要求学生设计出符合规范性和审美性,兼具文字气质和图形意味的“主题性”字母体系,并对其广泛的应用途径与独特效果进行了有益的尝试。
In teaching, the design of English letters proposed novel “theme” requirements, from the initial theme of general things up to deep themes of thought, culture and spirit. Explore how to extract the concise and vivid elements from the theme, and blend the visual image features into the letter design. Coupled with the basic shape constraints, students are required to design a “thematic ” alphabetic system that is both normative and aesthetically pleasing in terms of text quality and graphic meanings, and attempts beneficial attempts at its wide range of applications and unique effects .
