During the war of resistance against Japan, a large number of mainland universities, cultural groups, cultural institutions and cultural celebrities successively moved to Chengdu, and Chengdu became one of the western cultural centers for a while. From 1941 to 1945, the translation literature in Chengdu was booming, reached a climax of publication, and then dropped into a trough. During the War of Resistance Against Japan, the translation literature in Chengdu was widely distributed and rich in genre. There are many famous translations in its translation. The translation of “Air Force Literature” echoes the thought of the building of the Air Force by the Kuomintang government. The translation of realistic literature is relatively prosperous in response to the requirements of the times. Although individual translators such as Tao Xiong, Li Zhesi and Li Xun are unknown, their translation achievements should still be affirmed.
