The National Academy of Science's Code of Scientific Conduct conducts an inductive discussion on some basic characteristics of contemporary scientific research and some personal and professional problems encountered by scientific researchers at work in the theme of “On Being a Scientist.” The summary of the main code of conduct on scientific research is presented below. Peer review of scientific achievements There is no scientific progress without the exchange of scientists. At each stage of the research, the researcher submits his work to others for review through various channels with the accepted hope. This open critical process is of crucial importance to science.
