在瓦斯矿井的独头巷道中最易发生瓦斯局部积聚。在采用炮掘的情况下,由于放炮后工作面无人,不能立即发现沼气的燃烧,火灾就可能蔓延。据苏联统计,独头巷道中有近70%的火灾是由放炮时工作面附近的沼气被点燃而引起的。 为了防止这样的火灾,全苏“呼吸器”生产联合公司研制成功了Oпщ20—A型自动干粉灭火器。灭火器容积为20升,内装批量生产的п—2Aп或п—4Aп号灭火干粉。灭火器壳内装有15千克干粉和压缩空气,其内还有一气瓶,装有备用压气,它由一打有孔的空心管组成,管上的孔用逆止阀封闭。在灭火器的前盖上装有带易熔阀的起动装置,后盖上为压缩空气罐。
Local gas accumulation is most likely to occur in single-headed tunnels in gas mines.
