Objective To investigate the characteristics of ambulatory blood pressure of the elderly with natural longevity in Uyghur nationality in Hetian, Xinjiang. Methods A total of 308 elderly were randomly selected. One hundred elderly Uyghur aged 90 years old in Hetian were selected as the longevity group, and 106 elderly Uyghur population aged 65-70 years in the Hetian region as the elderly group. At the same period, their physical examination in our hospital A total of 102 Chinese Han elderly from 60 to 85 years old served as the control group. The patients in the three groups were monitored for ambulatory blood pressure at 24 hours. The related parameters were analyzed and statistically analyzed. Results There was no significant difference in the prevalence of hypertension between the two groups in the longevity group (P> 0.05). The 24 h diastolic blood pressure (DBP) in the longevity group was lower than that in the elderly group, while SBP and DBP in the longevity group were lower than those in the elderly group and the control group, and the mean pulse pressure index at 24 h was higher than that in the elderly group , But lower than the control group. (P <0.05). The SBP and 24-h mean pulse pressure in the longevity group were lower than those in the elderly group and the control group at 24 h (P> 0.05). Conclusions The prevalence of hypertension among the Uyghur longevous elderly people in Hotan area of Xinjiang Autonomous Region tends to decrease with its own characteristics of dynamic blood pressure changes. The risk of target organ damage is also relatively low, which may be part of the longevity.
