At the invitation of the Harvard Medical School and Baylor College of Medicine, the authors visited Urology Institute of Urology and Advanced Studies from September 1983 to October 1984. The two colleges are well-known in the United States and the world. This trip is mainly to fully compare the gap between urology in both countries and to learn from their advanced experience in medical technology, teaching and research, and to conduct some exchanges at the same time.
