1958年,周恩来总理提出建设国家大剧院,并批示,地址“以在人民大会堂以西为好”。但由于受当时经济条件限制,这一工程未能实施。1990年,文化部提出在原址上兴建国家大剧院。1997年10月,中央决定在人民大会堂西侧空地尽快兴建国家大剧院。1998年1月8日,中央正式决定用4年时间,投资25.5亿元建成大剧院。1998年4月,公开招标,保罗·安德鲁的方案中标。2000年4月,工程动工。2000年7月,国家大剧院停工待命,征求修改意见。2001年12月,国家大剧院正式开工。2003年12月2日,国家大剧院封顶。2007年,国家大剧院开始演出……时至今日,中国国家大剧院长达三个半月的开幕演出季已经过了三分之二,而争议之声从大剧院开始筹建时就没有停息过,大剧院在万众瞩目中俨然成为中国最具关注力的建筑和文化现象,我们特编撰此文,力图从剧场文化以及舞蹈的角度去解读和面对这个庞然大物。
In 1958, Premier Zhou Enlai proposed the construction of the National Grand Theater and commended the address “as good as west of the Great Hall of the People.” However, due to the current economic conditions, this project failed to implement. In 1990, the Ministry of Culture proposed the construction of the National Grand Theater on the site. In October 1997, the Central Committee decided to establish the National Grand Theater as soon as possible on the open space to the west of the Great Hall of the People. On January 8, 1998, the Central Government formally decided to spend 2.55 billion yuan to build the Grand Theater in four years. April 1998, open tender, Paul Andrew’s successful bidder. April 2000, the project started. In July 2000, the National Center for the Performing Arts was suspended from work and asked for comment. In December 2001, the National Grand Theater was officially started. December 2, 2003, the National Grand Theater capped. In 2007, the National Center for the Performing Arts began to perform ...... Up to now, the opening ceremony of the National Grand Theater in China has lasted two-thirds of the opening for three and a half months. The controversy has not stopped since the grand theater was set up. The Grand Theater has become the most important architectural and cultural phenomenon in China with much publicity. We have compiled this article to try to interpret and confront this monster in terms of theater culture and dance.
