在当代中国的艺术环境下,版画走到了进退两难的境地,而唯一不是舶来品的水印版画更是遭遇到了尴尬。告别了曾经的辉煌,版画被挤压到艺术偏远的角落。如何将传统的水印版画在当今的艺术环境下发展起来是当代水印版画工作者遇到的最严峻的问题。水印版画的兴起与文化传播相关,中国传统文化的强大底蕴为水印版画的发展打下深厚的基础,当抛却了复制传播的功能之后如何强化其他的功用是值得探讨的,这种转型期下技术和观念上的转变是必须的。绘画语言的突破、实验性的探索、对精神理念的表达是这个过渡期中的水印版画的活力和再生的力量。而版画概念内涵和外延的扩大也无疑为水印版画的未来铺垫了一条更宽阔的道路。
In contemporary China’s art environment, printmaking has come to a dilemma, and the only watermark print that is not imported is even more embarrassed. Bid farewell to the once brilliant, print is squeezed into the remote corner of art. How to develop the traditional watermark printmaking in today’s artistic environment is the most serious problem encountered by contemporary watermark printmaking workers. The rise of watermark prints is related to cultural transmission. The powerful background of Chinese traditional culture lays a solid foundation for the development of watermark printmaking. It is worth discussing how to strengthen other functions after discarding the function of copy and propagation. Conceptual change is a must. The breakthrough of the language of painting, the exploration of the experiment, the expression of the spiritual concept are the vitality and the regenerative force of the watermark print in this transitional period. The concept of print concepts and extension of the expansion will undoubtedly pave the way for the future of watermark prints a broader road.
