四川地矿局攀西裂谷队在对“攀西裂谷带主要地质构造特征及其对矿产的控制”进行研究的过程中,于康定杂岩中首次发现了麻粒岩,“这一发现填补了我国南方至今无麻粒岩分布的空白,並为进一步探索本区是否存在太古代高级变质地质体提供了重要的地质信息”。 该区的麻粒岩主要为二辉麻粒岩,遭受混合作用后演化为角闪二辉混合片麻岩。在这两种岩石中见有两种类型的斜长石:一种为白色细粒,粒径0.2—0.5mm;另一种为红色中粗粒,粒径2—5mm。在这二者之间无过渡现象。对于斜长石的红化有“风化说”、“钾长石
