This article provides an overview of methods for controlling NOx pollution by controlling the generation of nitrogen oxides - improving combustion techniques and reducing nitrogen oxide generation to control the pollution of nitrogen oxides to the atmosphere. Improving combustion technology is becoming a widely used technology for nitrogen oxide pollution control. The main advantage of this method is the economical and effective control of nitrogen oxide emissions. Practice shows that nitrogen oxide emissions can be reduced by more than 60%. As long as they meet the emission standards for nitrogen oxides, it is generally preferred to use improved combustion techniques to reduce nitrogen oxide generation. In addition, this article also briefly introduced the results of the study on the chemical thermodynamics and kinetics of nitrogen oxide generation. These results are the theoretical basis for controlling the formation of nitrogen oxides.
